About Mrs. Hiers

A little bit of information about your science teacher, Mrs. Wendy Hiers, ….

I am married with three children, ages 4, 6, and 13. I have been teaching for 14 years and this is my third year at Hull Middle. I attended college at the University of West Florida, where I received my Bachelors and Masters Degrees.

I have taught in Louisiana, Kentucky, Florida, Virginia, and Georgia. Although I have traveled throughout the United States in my 14 years of teaching, I am glad to call Georgia my home. We have planted our roots here and intend to stay.

In our spare time, we enjoy camping, scouting (I’m also a Daisy Troop Leader) and exploring. I enjoy crafts, scrapbooking, technology, and reading. I am always searching for ways to incorporate crafts and technology into my science curriculum.

I LOVE teaching Science and I hope you will LOVE it as much as I do!
